Atmos Rewards · oneworld Emerald

Atmos Titanium Status

Atmos Titanium is the highest Atmos Rewards elite tier, requiring 135,000 status points in a calendar year. It replaces Mileage Plan MVP Gold 100K — but the threshold jumped substantially, from 100,000 miles to 135,000 status points. Titanium also maps to oneworld Emerald, like Platinum, but with materially better Alaska/Hawaiian-side benefits.

Who Atmos Titanium is for

Road warriors, status chasers, and high-spend Atmos Summit cardholders. This is the most expensive Atmos tier to reach — the bar rose 35% from the legacy MVP Gold 100K. Existing Titanium members got a 20,000-point head start in 2026 to ease the transition.

Atmos Titanium benefits

  • Everything in Atmos Platinum, plus:
  • Day-of-departure complimentary premium-cabin upgrades on Alaska and Hawaiian flights — Atmos is uniquely the only U.S. airline offering this. Rolls out in spring 2026.
  • Highest upgrade priority on Alaska and Hawaiian flights
  • Most generous oneworld Emerald-level benefits across partners

Fastest path to Atmos Titanium

Roughly 135,000 status points — a serious commitment. Combine heavy flying, the Summit card anniversary boost, and any 2026 transition bonus you qualified for.

  • Flying only: About 135,000 flown miles. Practically: 5–6 international long-haul round trips a year, or 25+ transcon round trips, or some combination thereof.
  • Card boost: The Summit anniversary contributes 10,000 status points each year. If you held MVP Gold 100K in 2025, you received a one-time 20,000-point head start on 2026 earning — a meaningful 15% of the Titanium threshold.
  • Card spend route: On Summit (1 status point per $2 with no cap), $250,000 of additional spend after the anniversary boost would get you to Titanium spend-only — but the practical strategy is heavy flying combined with the card and the 2026 transition bonus if applicable.

2026 transition bonus

Members who held the legacy Mileage Plan MVP Gold 100K tier entering 2026 received a one-time 20,000 status point head start on 2026 earning toward 2027 status. This is a 2026-only bonus designed to soften the transition to higher status thresholds under Atmos Rewards.

Milestone rewards on the way to Titanium

Atmos Rewards Milestone Rewards begin at 10,000 status points. Even before reaching Titanium, you unlock perks at intermediate thresholds — typically free pre-order food, bonus points, or a trial of the next tier for a single trip. See our milestone rewards guide for the full schedule.

Frequently asked questions

How many status points do I need for Atmos Titanium?
135,000 status points in a calendar year — significantly more than the legacy MVP Gold 100K's 100,000-mile threshold.
What replaced MVP Gold 100K under Atmos Rewards?
Atmos Titanium replaced MVP Gold 100K. The threshold rose 35%, from 100,000 to 135,000 status points. Existing Titanium members received a one-time 20,000 status point bonus in 2026 to soften the change.
What is the oneworld equivalent of Atmos Titanium?
oneworld Emerald — same as Platinum on the oneworld side, but Titanium offers materially better Alaska/Hawaiian-specific benefits, including the unique day-of-departure complimentary premium-cabin upgrade.
Is Atmos Titanium worth chasing?
For the day-of-departure premium-cabin upgrades alone, yes if you fly Alaska/Hawaiian heavily — Atmos is the only U.S. program offering them. For oneworld benefits, Platinum already gets you to Emerald, so the marginal oneworld benefit is small.
