Atmos Rewards Milestone Rewards: 10K, 30K, and Beyond
Atmos Rewards Milestone Rewards are the in-progress perks you unlock between official elite tiers. They start at 10,000 status points — half of the Silver threshold — and continue scaling up as you fly. Most flyers earn at least one milestone reward each year even without making elite status.
How milestone rewards work
As you accumulate status points toward your next Atmos elite tier, you unlock progressively richer milestone rewards along the way. Each reward is a one-time selection — when you hit a milestone, Alaska prompts you to choose from a set of options tailored to that level.
The first milestone: 10,000 status points
The first Atmos milestone unlocks at 10,000 status points. Available choices have included free pre-order food on Alaska/Hawaiian flights, bonus points (typically a few thousand redeemable Atmos points), or a trial of Atmos Silver status — letting you experience full Silver benefits for a single trip without yet hitting the 20,000 SP threshold.
Subsequent milestones
Beyond 10,000 SP, Atmos has additional milestones at higher status point levels. The full 2026 milestone schedule is published on atmosrewards.com — choices typically expand to include car rental upgrades, more substantial bonus points, additional companion fare or upgrade benefits, and elite status nominations (gift Silver to a friend or family member). Specific milestone thresholds and reward menus are subject to change; check atmosrewards.com for the current list.
Why milestones matter
Milestones bridge the gap between casual flying and full elite status. Even if you only fly Alaska/Hawaiian a handful of times a year and never hit Silver, you can still see meaningful benefits at the 10,000-point milestone. They also reduce the "cliff" feel of status programs, where finishing a year with 39,000 SP (just shy of Gold) used to feel like all-or-nothing.
