MVP Gold 75K
The legacy Mileage Plan tier requiring 75,000 miles. Replaced by Atmos Platinum at 80,000 status points.
MVP Gold 75K was the third-from-top elite tier in the legacy Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program, requiring 75,000 elite-qualifying miles in a calendar year. Under Atmos Rewards (launched October 2025), MVP Gold 75K was renamed to Atmos Platinum, and the threshold moved up by 5,000 to 80,000 status points.
To compensate existing MVP Gold 75K members for the higher bar, Alaska awarded a one-time 5,000 status point head start on 2026 earning toward 2027 status. That makes the effective 2026 Platinum threshold 75,000 SP for migrated members — exactly what they would have needed under the legacy program.
